Details Itinerary : 4 Days Desert Tour from Marrakech to Agadir via Merzouga Sahara

DAY 1 : MARRAKECH – ATLAS MOUNTAINS- KASBAH AIT BEN HADDOU- BOUMALNE DADES VALLEY

The first day of the journey departs from Marrakech and travels along narrow, steep roads across the High Atlas Mountains, passing over the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, which is situated 2260 meters above sea level. Beautiful views of mountainous terrain may be seen from the high mountain pass. We will arrive at one of the tour’s highlights, the UNESCO World Heritage site of Kasbah Ait ben Haddou, after traversing the slopes. Situated on the old caravan road between Marrakech and the Sahara, this town is defended. Many globally recognized films that were filmed in Morocco have chosen Ait ben Haddou as a setting because of its old and antique appearance.

The Thousand Kasbahs Valley is traversed on the trip. We stay at a motel in the Dades Valley for the first night.

DAY 2: BOUMALNE DADES VALLEY –TINGHIR- TODRA GORGE – MERZOUGA SAHARA

After a filling breakfast at the hotel, the second day of our expedition starts with a four-hour drive to Merzouga sahara. There will be opportunities to stop in the little village of Tinghir, stroll around the Todra oasis, and then go out onto the canyons before continuing on to two more towns, Erfoud and Rissani, along the way. There will be a camel caravan waiting for us at Merzouga when we get there. The expedition will now take place in time for the sunset of the Saharan sun, with an hour-long ride across the Erg Chebbi Dunes. After that, we’ll spend the night in a Bedouin desert camp.

Day 3: MERZOUGA SAHARA – OUARZAZATE- ATLAS MOUNTAINS- MARRAKECH

We have around nine hours of driving ahead of us on our way back to Marrakech. Breakfast is served in the morning, and lunch will be stopped the route at the city of Ouarzazate. We return to Marrakech at around 19:00.

Day 4: MARRAKECH – AGADIR

Around 7 am, you will depart Marrakech for the 2-and-a-half-hour trip to Agadir. As soon as you arrive, you may begin your trip by seeing the city and seeing its local market, where a variety of goods, including Argan oil, are displayed. The biggest port in Morocco, Port Agadir, and its fish market are also open for your exploration.

The trip will then proceed to the old palace of Kasbah Agadir Oufella, which was constructed in the sixteenth century by the Saadian dynasty’s King Mohammad Achaikh. You may spend the night at your accommodations in Agadir and enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the port from this quaint location.
