Details Itinerary : 1-Day Morocco Tour from Marrakech to Ouzoud Waterfalls
The first true joy you will have on your trip from marrakech to ouzoud waterfalls will be leaving the busy metropolis and unwinding in this area’s natural wonder. This trip will take you from the city to the waterfalls and back in one long and amazing day, something that not many visitors are able to do.The sections of Morocco that we will be seeing on our expedition won’t be seen by very many people. As we proceed into the Ouzoud cascades, we will periodically be enjoying the splendor of the surrounding area, so you should have comfortable walking shoes.
Many little towns and villages with a very rural atmosphere will pass us by. You may mistakenly believe that you have traveled back in time at times, as you see some of the rural villages going about their everyday lives in some of the most breathtaking settings of exceptional natural beauty. The monkeys are not as timid as you would think, so you may even say hello to them when you encounter them along the route. Our very personal guide will have the opportunity to show you some of the greatest characteristics of this region once we get at the waterfalls.
Amidst the waterfalls, there are several cafés and restaurants where you may unwind by the rock pools at the base of some of the cascades and roaring rivers. Many can decide to eat in the regions close to the falls with a packed lunch.
If you want to swim in any of the pools at the base of the falls, you should pack a change of clothes, some sunscreen, and a camera. One thing is certain, though: this trip amid the enormous natural waterfalls, Barbary macaques, and little towns that seem to be frozen in time will stick in your memory. We take the same picturesque route back to Marrakech and get back somewhere in the early evening.
